Great selection of sushi rolls, and each one we have tried so far is tasty!! The size of the fried noodle and fried chicken is pretty big, good for sharing. But it’s always very busy!! Should make reservations in advance.

My wife and I visited Sushi Mugen for the first time today at 1:30 PM. The main dining area was about three-quarters full, and we later discovered an upstairs seating area while looking for the restroom. First impressions: The restaurant is clean and well laid out, making good use of its somewhat irregular space. There’s also outdoor seating available. The decor is simple—painted cement floors and a minimalist design—but everything appeared well-maintained. The restrooms were clean, though they are located upstairs, which may be an issue for customers with mobility concerns. Service & Ordering: Service was quick, and the staff was polite and helpful, which we appreciated as we’re not experts in Japanese cuisine. Food & Value: My wife ordered the Chicken Teriyaki Box, and I had the Chicken Teriyaki Meal. We also shared a California Roll. The total before tip was $37.96, which we found to be excellent value considering the portion sizes and quality of the food. The servings were generous, the food was hot, fresh, and flavorful—we even had leftovers to take home. I’m not typically a big fan of Japanese food, but this place changed my mind! We will definitely be returning. Highly recommended.

Love this place!! Tons of creative and unique sushi rolls to choose from and the price is reasonable! I believe there’s a discount if you order for pick up too. We got to eat on the patio which is rare for a sushi spot. Looking forward to trying more from here. These 3 rolls came to $47 including tax and the two of us were very full.

Definitely go for lunch and choose the chicken or beef teriyaki box, plus the Crazy Roll for 16 $ . Even thinking about it is delightful and delicious. It’s a great place with a nice atmosphere—you can sit both indoors and outdoors. The food is incredibly tasty, and the staff is very polite and friendly!

First time eating here. Dined in. We arrived 40 minutes prior to closing and the waitress told us we could only order carry-out. We had no issue with that so we ordered 2 rolls and an appetizer, then we were given plates, chopsticks, and tea for dine in. It was a little confusing but I guess they were fine with us dining in after all? The menu has an incredibly wide variety of rolls which was nice to see. I wanted to try more, but we only needed a little bit of food to get us through the night. Service was super fast, likely due to them wanting to start closing early, but the staff remained friendly. We got the Rainbow Roll, Drunken Tiger Roll, and the Chicken Karaage. The rainbow roll was good and had fresh fish, although not the best we’ve had. The Drunken Tiger Roll was very sweet but delicious and as advertised. The chicken karaage was very crispy and the chicken was moist. You don’t get as much chicken as you would some other places, but it was a moderate portioned appetizer to accompany the meal. It tasted like typical deep fried chicken wings so no complaints there. Overall, everything was good, including prices. Nothing incredibly special but definitely worth the try! Due to it being in a downtown location, it was much easier to get here on foot than trying to find parking.
